Mashbo founder Gavin sets sail on GoodShip
Co-founder of Liverpool digital agency Mashbo ‘sets sail’ on a new consultancy venture called GoodShip. Tony McDonough reports
Mashbo co-founder Gavin Sherratt has announced he is setting up a new venture.
Over several years Gavin helped transform Mashbo, a Liverpool digital agency, into one of the best known business brands in the city. It was the recipient of multiple industry awards.
Now his new venture, GoodShip, will be a “collaboration agency” focused on building creative and tech teams to support the growth ambitions for partner clients.
As well as offering development services, GoodShip will provide collaborative consultancy, where it works within an organisation or project to support the creation of business-boosting strategies and ideas.
Providing expert knowledge and insights garnered during Gavin’s 27-years in the tech and digital sector, it will work with tech, business development, creative and development teams.
This new business will launch officially on Thursday, September 19, with an event under the organisation’s community brand, KinShip, supported by Growth Platform.
The Liverpool Slush’d pre-conference social at Ryde Cafe on Mann St, is free and tickets are available via the GoodShip website.
Gavin said: “Earlier this year, Mashbo’s founders decided to explore our own missions after nearly 14 years working together, so launching GoodShip is an exciting, fresh challenge for me.
“Over the summer, we have worked to assemble an experienced network of creatives and developers as the foundation of GoodShip, but we will be looking to work with new talent as we grow.

“We’re going to build on previous experiences, which includes bringing back our Creative Kitchen network under the new name of KinShip. We’ve been working on some fantastic projects with our first clients, which we’re excited to share in the near future.
“We are also looking forward to bringing more clients aboard, particularly those that address business and social challenges, where creativity and tech has the power to enable positive change and growth.”
