Free-to-attend half-day conference – Think Digital – is taking place at St Helens Chamber is Salisbury Street this Friday, March 3, from 10am to 1.30pm.
And event being held in Merseyside this week will focus on the benefits of embracing digital technologies for businesses.
The free-to-attend half-day conference – Think Digital – is taking place at St Helens Chamber is Salisbury Street this Friday, March 3, from 10am to 1.30pm.
It will bring together industry experts from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA), Barclays, Tranect and O2, who will share their knowledge with delegates of all things digital.
Digital technologies change everything that businesses do, and digital jobs and activity are becoming ever more important in traditionally non-digital areas of the economy, providing huge opportunities for businesses.
Clare Rogerson, digital marketing manager at LJLA, will be among the panel of guest speakers, talking about how to use online tools to deliver an excellent customer experience.
With more than 10 years’ experience working with start-ups and well established brands such as Peugeot, Morrisons, Alder Hey and Unilever, Clare has a wealth of knowledge in digital services.
She has worked at LJLA for two years and was the first digital resource in the business.
She will be joined by Graeme Brand of Barclays, who will talk about how businesses can protect themselves from cybercrime.
O2 will deliver an insightful presentation on Digital Transformation and how it is essential in today’s business climate in helping businesses to offer customers a better service.
A pilot survey was conducted in St Helens by O2 to address the digital divide in Britain. In 10 weeks, the digital engagement in the Borough was improved by 15% and St Helens was moved 17 places up the Digital High Street Index.
The event will also include a business exhibition and opportunities to network. Exhibition stands are available for £20+VAT.
