MSB Solicitors extend expert advice to Liverpools business community
MSB Solicitors have been making waves in Liverpool’s small and start-up business community this summer, taking part in a number of key events tailored to assist growing businesses.
Commercial partner Mark Forman took part in Finding Finance, a panel event at The Epstein Theatre in July aimed at exploring alternative routes to finance. Mark advised businesses on ways to mitigate the risks involved in accessing finance, whether via alternative or more traditional routes. He was joined on the panel by representatives from Mitchell Charlesworth accountants, MSIF, Nat West and CrowdBoarders – Texas-based crowdfunding specialists.
Earlier this month, commercial property solicitor Elizabeth Morris and commercial solicitor Joseph Chiffers took part in the Liverpool Loves Business Clinic, organised by MYOB in association with Growth Accelerator and The North West Fund.
MSB joined 9 other experts from the professional services, financial and digital marketing sectors to offer delegates free, unbiased advice on things that could affect their business and its development; with the shared aim of helping aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners to address the practical and financial implications of starting or growing a business and arm them with applied ideas, that are easy to implement and could make a real and lasting difference.
Managing partner at MSB, Paul Bibby said:
“The burgeoning small and start-up business sector in the Liverpool City Region is incredibly important to the continued growth of our economy. It is those businesses who are creating jobs and wealth, and shaping the future for the city and indeed the region as a whole.
“If our involvement with Liverpool Loves Business can go some way towards helping those businesses and pointing them in the right direction as they’re starting out, then we’ll certainly be very pleased.”
