A Liverpool recruitment agency specialising in the healthcare, HR and construction sectors has secured backing from business funding provider Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF).

Talento was launched in June 2016 by experienced recruiters Brian McGlynn and Andrew Coyne and accomplished businessman Michele Dematteis.

Andrew Coyne heads up the healthcare arm which recruits a variety of roles including senior managers, care managers, registered nurses and support staff for domiciliary, residential care and nursing homes across the UK.

The firm has quickly established itself, building strong relationships with a number of key national and local care providers.

Brian McGlynn leads the HR and construction divisions. The HR team recruits for a diverse range of professional roles across a range of industry sectors from SMEs to blue chip firms.

The construction team hires for professional and executive appointments including foremen, site managers, project managers and quantity surveyors for clients in the building, civil engineering, highways and house building sectors across the UK.

MSIF’s loan has been used to assist with start-up costs including securing premises, investing in IT and staff.

Although Talento was established last summer it remains eligible for a start-up loan for the first 18 months of its existence.
