A new French restaurant opens in Liverpool next week.
Brasserie Loup will open its doors on Tuesday, May 18, in Berry Street in Liverpool city centre. It is being opened buy the business behind Wolf & Waffle, also in Berry Street, and Berrington’s in Wavertree.
It will serve a menu of classic French with diners told to expect “great tasting simple dishes, hearty portions and a lively atmosphere”. The 60-cover restaurant will be located above Wolf & Waffle.
The new outlet offers French dishes cooked using simple flavours and seasonal ingredients, with highlights including cheesy onion soup and moules frites with garlic and white wine sauce.
Green velvet furnishings, chic French artwork and hanging plants are a feature of the dining room. Interior decor also includes a beret clad gold mannequin head, a pink neon sign and an antique chandelier draped in ivy.
To accompany the food, the drinks menu offers a variety of smooth French wines, craft beers and fruity cocktails, all of which can be enjoyed as a digestif in the downstairs secret beer garden.
