New judges will be joining this year’s NWPAs judging panel, organisers have announced

The glittering property awards, which will celebrate achievements across the North West’s residential and commercial sectors, is set to welcome two new judges to help choose this year’s winners.

They will join the existing panel which includes Eric Wright, Elaine Cunningham, Alastair Shepherd and Lesley Martin-Wright.

 The first will be Fiona Woodward-Kelly, who brings over 25 years of experience to the panel. Having started her career at Urban Splash as an interior designer and construction project manager, Fiona has first-hand experience working on residential and commercial projects throughout the North West.

Setting up her hugely successful interior design and property marketing company, Woodward Kelly & Co Ltd in 2007, Fiona has worked with clients including Peel Group, Plumlife, Tamewater Developments and Bruntwood.

On joining the judging panel, Fiona Woodward-Kelly, said:

“I am delighted to have been invited to be part of the judging panel of this year’s NWPAs as it is an important event in the property calendar, recognising the ‘best of the best’ in the North West property professionals. Having worked in marketing in the property industry across the commercial and residential sectors for the last 25 years I hope I can bring something to the panel and I will find it fascinating to look at all the entries, visit the schemes and work with the other judges to choose the winners.”

The second new judge joining the NWPAs is chief executive of the Greater Merseyside Learning Providers’ Federation (GMLPF), James Glendenning.

GMLPF is a non-profit organisation which champions and supports over 80 Merseyside skills and education providers. James is a prominent figure who is championing apprenticeships and training throughout the region, so is a fitting judge for the Property Apprentice category.

“It’s a real honour to have been asked to join the judging panel for the NWPAs. I’m looking forward to judging the entries for the Property Apprentice award and recognising an individual who is making an exceptional contribution to their workplace. As an ex-apprentice myself, I understand first-hand the benefits and opportunities that an apprenticeship offers to both young people and employers. It will be fascinating to see which businesses throughout the North West are leading the way and nurturing the next generation of talent.”
