The communal kitchen area provides bottomless tea and coffee; there are comfy breakout spaces for meetings and socialising and facilities such as wi-fi, printing and photocopying included in the price.

Paula Basnett, chief executive of Wirral Chamber, said: “I believe that we’ve providing something unique for Wirral’s creatives – something that will go beyond a traditional business centre, to become a cultural and social hive of activity.

“The best co-working spaces we’ve seen can blur the lines between work and play and that is definitely our aspiration here.

“We want to level the playing field for Wirral’s creatives so that they have the benefits currently enjoyed at successful co-working spaces in cities on our doorstep and across the country.
