Planning consultancy Pegasus is taking 1,400 sq ft of office space at Liverpool’s No 4 St Paul’s Square – relocating its team from just yards away at The Plaza.

It is the latest in a number of lettings at No 4, which offers the last remaining grade A office space in the city central business district. In recent months property consultancy Gleeds and wealth manager Pavis have both taken up residence.

They join existing tenants, including fast-growing law firm MSB Solicitors, gas safety technology firm Gas Tag as well as the Santander Business Incubator.

Pegasus employs more than 270 people across 12 UK offices and its Liverpool team, headed by Neil Culkin, is eight-strong and was recently boosted by the appointments of Sheila Wright and Simon Tarr.

Managing director Tony Bateman said: “The North West is a particularly exciting area of growth for us and a move to larger premises plus the appointment of two new directors reinforces our strategy to enhance the service that we offer to clients.”

Joint agents at No 4 St Paul’s Square are CBRE and Worthington Owen and the 107,000 sq ft  building was acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management early last year.

Aberdeen has sought to create a dynamic business hub at No 4 St Paul’s, fostering an atmosphere of community and collaborations between its tenants.

This progressive approach was behind a ‘wellness day’ held at the building in May which saw hundreds of people from the surrounding area flock to meet a number of welling and wellness professionals.
