Liverpool legend Phil Thompson is gearing up to host his annual fundraising golf event, in aid of Nugent Care, a charitable organisation he is a proud patron of.

Always a fantastic event, Phil will be inviting teams of keen golfers to challenge him on the course, followed by an evening meal, where former Liverpool captain Thompson enlists the help of a fellow ex-pro to regale guests with stories and anecdotes from Liverpools storied past.

Nugent Care support local, vulnerable adults and children, and sponsorship from the days players will help the service to continue to offer this dedicated support.

The event takes place on the 26th May at Houghwood golf course, Billinge Hill. Entry price is £395 per team, and this includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast on arrival, three course dinner, after dinner speakers and prizes and presentations.
