Plans in action for MIPIM 2015

Liverpool Vision has joined forces with leading names in the property sector as plans for MIPIM 2015 get underway.

Representatives from Peel Holdings, Deloitte, Brabners and Bruntwood have joined Vision to plan the city’s strategy ahead of Liverpool’s appearance at the annual real estate trade show next year.

Bruntwood’s Colin Sinclair, Jeff Gillbanks of Brabners, Deloitte’s Sean Beech and Peel Holding’s Ian Pollitt will meet regularly over the next few months to work together on developing a private sector-led approach before refining a plan with both Liverpool Vision and Marketing Liverpool.

Chris Brown, director of Marketing Liverpool said:

“Liverpool had a very strong presence at MIPIM in 2014 and through the work of the steering group we are sure that at MIPIM 2015 we will have an even stronger programme supported by an increased number of private sector partners.

“These are exciting times for the city with the announcement of the International Festival for Business returning in 2016 and several major projects coming forward.”

Ian Pollitt, development investment surveyor at Peel Holdings added:

“MIPIM is the principal international showcase for development opportunities and we are beginning our planning early to ensure the city region makes the most of the opportunity.

“We’re working closely with Liverpool Vision to organise the city’s presence and aim to make MIPIM 2015 the most valuable ever.”

Grosvener, Countryside, Harcourt, Castlewood, Liverpool BID, Chester Falconer Hall and Innov8 are amongst the seventeen partners already confirmed to support Liverpool at MIPIM in March 2015.
