SK Events & PR – the company behind Liverpool Food and Drink Festival – has been appointed by Liverpool Commercial District BID to transform the historic square into a bustling marketplace, as part of its ‘ThIs Summer’ campaign.

This client win adds to the successful roster of food and drink events that SK Events & PR currently manage, including the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival, the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards, the pop up street food events at Princes Dock for Peel Holdings Ltd and the bi-annual wine tasting events in the Palm House.

The team at SK Events & PR will aim to recreate the vibrant atmosphere that is often found in European cities and bring an eclectic mix of market stalls and food vendors to Exchange Flags during the five day event, including producers’ stalls, vintage clothes markets, local restaurants and bars, antiques stores, flower stalls and a whole host of other unique sellers.

There will also be cooking demonstrations and masterclasses from some of the city’s most talented chefs, as well as entertainment from local artists, stilt walkers and street theatre performers.

Local businesses will also be able to utilise this amazing space for outdoor meetings and networking events.
