Family-owned estate agency business is moving from Rodney Street to Dale Street and says it expects to create more jobs by the end of 2017. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool estate agency firm the Marshall Group is relocating its city centre headquarters from Rodney Street to Dale Street.

The family-owned and operated property group launched its sales and lettings agency division four-and-a-half years ago and has since won numerous industry awards with the agency growing from just two staff to 18 – with more jobs expected to be created throughout 2017.

The Marshall Group offers services in property sales, letting and management and has also added commercial/residential block and facilities management services to its portfolio.

The refurbishment of the new high street office was overseen by chief executive Paul Marshall who brings 30 years’ experience in residential and commercial property development and management. 

He said: “We’ve invested a substantial six-figure sum in the new headquarters in anticipation of current and expected future growth of the business across all disciplines.

“It’s a proud moment for all involved in the Marshall Group as we firmly establish our place in the market as Liverpool’s leading independent sales and lettings agency and further enhance our construction and facilities management arm of the business which is now almost three decades old and is well established in both commercial and residential sectors.”

The Marshall Group began as a family operated firm in the property development and management business in the 1980s.

After developing and managing its own properties it then decided to offer its services to others.

It opened up its first branch in St Mary’s Road in South Liverpool and, two years later, added a second outlet in Allerton.

Today the Marshall Group operates in two key locations in the city with ambitious plans for further branches in the near future.
