Pullman Hotel announces new general manager

Liverpool’s waterfront arena and conference centre hotel, Pullman Liverpool, has appointed a new general manager. Tony McDonough reports

Waterfront hotel Pullman Liverpool has unveiled Stephen Rycroft as its new general manager (GM).

Stephen has worked in multiple GM roles across the UK since 2008. From January 2018 to July 2019 he was GM of the Hard Day’s Night Hotel in Liverpool and, most recently, held the same role at the Manchester Marriott.

Pullman Liverpool is part of the city council-owned waterfront complex that includes Exhibition Centre Liverpool and the M&S Bank Arena.

“I am incredibly proud to join Pullman Liverpool, a hotel that has built an outstanding reputation for exceptional service, innovation, and community engagement,” said Stephen.

“The team has achieved remarkable success, and I look forward to working alongside them to continue delivering memorable experiences for our guests while driving the hotel forward into its next phase of growth.”

Kerry Villa, chief operating officer of the arena and convention centre complex, added: “We are delighted to welcome Stephen to Pullman Liverpool.

“As GM, Stephen will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensuring Pullman Liverpool continues to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining its reputation for excellence within the region and across the wider hospitality industry.”
