Pure Gym open two new facilties around Liverpool
Two new gyms opening in Liverpool will generate up to 30 jobs and provide quality facilities to fitness fanatics and the health conscious alike.
PureGym has announced that it will establish two new sites on Ranelagh Street and another on Ormskirk Road, Aintree, capitalising on their involvement in the UK’s affordable fitness sector.
The company’s new gyms are expected to open by the end of this year, providing new job opportunities for the communities surrounding the two facilities.
Both PureGym Liverpool Central and PureGym Aintree will provide members with “a vibrant and spacious gym” 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Each club will feature more than 220 pieces of the latest gym equipment ensuring everyone’s fitness requirements are well met, as well as in excess of 50 free classes each week, plus additional specialist classes such as Zumba and Bokwa.
There will also be state-of-the-art changing facilities, with modern showers, and functional training zones with Kettlebells, Power Plate and TRX Suspension Trainers.
Describing the new developments, PureGym property director, Angela Crawshaw, said;
“PureGym Liverpool Central and PureGym Aintree will provide local residents with two fully equipped gyms that offer not only exceptional value for money at an affordable price, but membership without a contract that ties you in for a long period of time.”
Both gyms are offering special pre-opening terms. PureGym Liverpool is charging £10.99 each month and a £15 joining fee, while the Aintree site’s pre-opening price is £9.99 a month, plus £15 to join.
Leeds-based PureGym was founded in 2008 by Peter Roberts, a leisure entrepreneur and former venture capitalist, who opened his first two gyms in Manchester and Leeds, after conducting extensive research into the sector.
The group, which has more than 400,000 members, has plans to have opened up to 100 sites by the end of this year.
