Signature Living reveals first images of Dixie Dean Hotel
The hotel, which commemorates the life and career of Everton legend Dixie Dean, sits opposite Signature Living’s Shankly Hotel in Victoria Street, Liverpool, and will open in summer 2018
Developer and hotel operator Signature Living has revealed images of the frontage of its new Dixie Dean Hotel planned for Victoria Street in Liverpool city centre.
The hotel, which commemorates the life and career of Everton legend Dixie Dean, sits opposite Signature Living’s Shankly Hotel and will open in summer 2018.
In the images the gothic Jerome and Carlisle Buildings are, according to Signature, “beautifully lit, reminiscent of London’s Harrods and reflective of the four-star luxury of the hotel’s interior”.
The images also reveal Signature Living’s intentions for its planned ‘Football Quarter’, with statues of Liverpool FC and Everton FC football legends installed along the tree-lined avenue.
Similar to the Shankly, the Dixie Dean Hotel will showcase memorabilia from the centre forward’s career.
Signature Living founder Lawrence Kenwright said: “The Dixie Dean Hotel will help to further regenerate what was once a forgotten part of Liverpool city centre.”
