SK Events set the style standard

Liverpool based event management and PR consultancy, SK Events, last week staged no less than eight pop-up events at six venues in just three days.

.

From the start, SK Events played a pivotal role in bringing Celebration of Style to life, a three-day showcase of fashion, beauty, art, photography and architecture; curated by SK Events’ own director Denise Harris, and co-founder of Cricket – Justine Mills.

SK Events were responsible for all aspects of event management, as well as generating an online and offline media presence for the style extravaganza, running up to and during the event, which took place 13th-15th November.

Due to the nature of the jam packed event programme, the team had a mammoth task ahead to organise a press launch, private dinner, style conference, exhibition, fashion catwalk show, two after-show parties, and a full day of in-store activities.

With no stone left unturned, they coordinated every phase of the event with the concept of ‘style’ firmly in mind, including venue selection, event content, seminar speakers, sponsors, entertainment, event structures, lighting, catering, and guest lists, which included Chloe Green, Rosie Fortescue, Colleen Rooney and Alex Gerrard, to name a few.

SK Events managed to secure three of Liverpool’s Three Graces as venue partners for Celebration of Style, a first for the city and something no other company has managed to achieve. Knowsley Hall and The Titanic Hotel at Stanley Dock also hosted events, combining the old with the new to provide a truly stunning and stylish affair.

Denise Harris was delighted with the venues, saying:

“Having worked in events in this city for more than 15 years, managing to place Celebration of Style within the iconic three graces was a total dream. The buildings are beautiful, elegant and provided the most stunning backdrop for our press launch, Cricket fashion show and VIP after party.”

The SK Events team pulled out all the stops, as they were tasked with transforming all seven venues into suitable event spaces, each customised to embody ‘style’ and reflect the cutting edge fashion that the North West has to offer.

Partners and sponsors included Boodles and Matalan, along with style icons at the pinnacle of their careers in the industry, such as Matthew Williamson, Andrew Collinge and Abbey Clancy.
