Sports stars endorse Liverpool health brand Fuel Station on social media

Fuel Station continues to be a favourite amongst the city’s sporting stars, as Liverpool FC defender Jonathon Flanagan and Olympic boxer Tasha Jonas take to twitter to endorse the leading delivered diets business.

The Liverpool and England star, who made his professional debut in 2011, heaped praise on the brands delivered diet and new lunchtime delivery service, saying he “loved his food fitness box”; before thanking former Apprentice star and Fuel Station founder Kurt Wilson. The defenders tweet prompted the interest of Olympic boxer Tasha Jonas.

Jonas, who represented Great Britain in London 2012 and is currently preparing for the Olympic championships in Rio 2016, said she was “hearing good things about the healthy lunches and diets” and will “have to try them”.

The sports stars, who are both born and bred Scousers, follow the likes of model Alex Gerrard, Dancing on Ice champion Ray Quinn and Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan – who have all taken to social media to support Kurt and his business.

Fuel Station’s Kurt Wilson, who started the company with his brother Jay, said he was delighted to have the backing of influential sportspeople in the city.

He said:

“ It’s great that Jonathon and Tasha have both endorsed our brand. The delivered diets are hugely popular and the new lunchtime delivery service is already being used by various businesses in the city. Sportspeople of the calibre of Jonathan and Tasha are influential so it’s great to have them on board.”

The 21-year old fullback, who returned to full training this week after being sidelined with a knee injury, told the ECHO:

“ Fuel Station is doing some great work to encourage healthy eating. Kurt and his brother Jay are definitely the guys to go to if you would like help achieving your health and fitness goals.”
