Suites Hotel & Spa has welcomed a new operations manager to its expanding team.

The Knowsley-based venue has appointed Neil Sinnott, 37, who brings with him 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with Marriott Liverpool, Thornton Hall & Spa and The Shankly Hotel Liverpool.

Overseeing all aspects of the venue, Neil will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of 98 suites, Handley’s Brasserie, Leisure Club, The Spa and the hotel’s meeting and events offering.

Neil said: “Having worked in the hospitality industry for more than a decade, I am thrilled to have joined the team at Suites Hotel & Spa and be a part of the exciting developments that are currently underway.

“My previous roles as operations manager and food and beverage manager have enabled me to broaden my knowledge and skillset, which I am excited to put into motion as part of my new appointment.

“My main focus and objectives will be to move this great venue forward and ensure that it continues to deliver fantastic experiences across all of its aspects; whether that be accommodation, dining, leisure or events.”

Situated just off the M57, Suites Hotel & Spa is the only four-star hotel in the North West that provides all of its guests with suites.

Aside from accommodation, the venue is also home to The Spa, together with in-house food and drink establishments Handley’s Brasserie, Spa Bistro and Bollinger Bar.

Managing director of Suites Hotel & Spa Peter Tyer said: “Neil’s enthusiasm and experience is a great asset to have on board.

“He will work closely with the management team and front-of-house staff to ensure that customer expectations are both met and exceeded, all the while continuing to raise the venue’s profile and prominent stance.

“Neil joins the business at an exciting time with renovations and new offerings for the hotel and spa planned for later in 2017. We’ve no doubt that Neil will do a brilliant job in enhancing our fantastic team.”
