Designer clothes brand Tessuti has opened the doors of its new 22,000 sq ft shop in Paradise Street in Liverpool ONE.

This new outlet is four times bigger than its previous store in Peter’s Lane. It has opened alongside parent brand JD Sports’ store and neighbours fashion retailer Arket. The store features a range of designer menswear, womenswear, and kidswear.

It showcases curated collections from established premium and luxury fashion brands and up-and-coming designers. And it houses well-renowned labels such as BOSS, DKNY, Vivienne Westwood and Michael Kors.

Tessuti’s interiors have been styled with a “subtle nod” to classic Italian architecture. They incorporate technical features, “combining classic design with an industrial-chic colour palette and cutting-edge digital screens”.

Working with local Liverpudlian digital and production agency Liquid, the store has exclusive instore stills and videos showcasing new campaigns. The first of these will feature Liverpool stars Stephen Graham, Abbey Clancy, Miles Kane and Chelcee Grimes.

Chris Rowan, director of brand and customer connection at Tessuti, said: “The opening of our global flagship at Liverpool ONE is a huge moment for us.

“Liverpool is an urban hub for international fashion retailers, so upsizing and relocating within the city’s leading retail and leisure destination was a natural next step. We feel confident that it is the ideal home for our flagship location.”

The arrival of Tessuti follows a busy 2022 to date for Liverpool ONE. It has seen a number of new openings at the destination, including footwear retailer Kick Game, Inditex clothing brand, Bershka and vintage brand The Vintage Store.

Alison Clegg, managing director, asset management at Liverpool ONE owner Grosvenor, added: “Tessuti’s commitment to Liverpool ONE, through its relocation within the destination and decision to make the new store its global flagship, strengthens our position as one of Europe’s leading retail and leisure destinations.”

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE, while Tessuti dealt directly.
