Trattoria 51 is preparing to host an authentic Italian feast this Mother’s Day devised with family dining in mind.

The popular eatery located on Old Hall Street will hold an exclusive Sunday opening to mark the celebratory occasion on March 6.

In a bid to create a full family experience, the restaurant will cater for both adults and children alike by providing a Specials Menu, which will enable diners the flexibility to build their own meal.

General Manager and Co-Owner of Trattoria 51 Toni Karemanaj said:

To start, guests can choose from an array of scrumptious starters including parma ham and melon, fresh king scallops wrapped in speck ham with leek sauce and grilled goat cheese with sweet balsamic, marinated grilled vegetables and crusted bread.

Main courses options from the specials menu include dishes such as pork escalope saltimbocca with parma ham, sage and sweet marsala wine sauce, steamed sea bass fillet en papillotte with mussels and samphire and orecchiette with crab meat, spinach and cherry tomatoes.

Guests with a sweet tooth can be tempted by a selection of indulgent desserts including Nutella and mascarpone calzone and Italian artisan cheese board.
