Developer St Modwen has secured tenancy renewal deals with three local businesses in Kirkby Town Centre.

Kirkby Family Dental Care is renewing the lease on its 884 sq ft practice, located at 80 St Chad’s Parade. It has been operating in the town for 17 years and has agreed to continue business for another five years.

The third retailer to confirm its long-term commitment with Kirkby is Cash Generator. The discount store will continue to occupy 1,151 sq ft at 16 St Chad’s Parade for another 15 years.

St Modwen has embarked on a major regeneration drive in Kirkby town centre and has announced deals with supermarket giant Morrisons and with Reel Cinema Group.

Andrew Day, property manager at St Modwen, said: “Since we acquired Kirkby Town Centre in 2015, our priority has been to ensure tenants’ confidence in St Modwen and the improvements we are making to the town centre.

“We are striving to provide tenants with the best possible office and retail space and these three renewals are testament to the work we are carrying out in the town centre.

“We are thrilled that The Kirkby Dental Care, Planet Sports and Cash Generator have renewed their leases and we look forward to welcoming new tenants in the future.”
