Voting open for Liverpool Chamber awards

Brand marketing specialist Wild Thang and The Women’s Organisation are among several Liverpool city region businesses to secure more than one nomination in Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business Awards

Public voting for the Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business Awards 2022 with some businesses securing more than one nomination.

Housing group Sovini is shortlisted in four separate categories: Skills and Employability Award, Business of the Year – over 30 employees (Sovini Trade Supplies), Responsible Business – Social & Governance Award, and Responsible Business – Environmental Award.

Liverpool social enterprise, The Women’s Organisation is nominated for the Responsible Business – Social & Governance Award, International Business Award, and Skills and Employability Award.

Bootle-based brand marketing specialist Wild Thang will be up against The Women’s Organisation in the International Business category. It won the same award in 2021. Wild Thang is also shortlisted for Business of the Year – over 30 employees.

Wild Thang founder and managing director Andrew Dwerryhouse, said he and his team were “incredibly proud” to be shortlisted again. He added: “It has been an exciting time as we slowly have returned to an almost ‘normal’ business setting.

“Our team have worked so hard to return bigger and better this year, and we truly feel we have. We feel we have overcome the obstacles COVID and Brexit have thrown at us, and we feel we have only come out even stronger than ever.”

Spectroscopy specialist Hexsor Scientific is also nominated in the Responsible Business – Social & Governance and International Categories. In House Legal Solutions is nominated in Responsible Business – Social & Governance and Business of the Year – Under 30 Employees Award.

PINS Social Club in Liverpool is shortlisted for the Customer Excellence Award and Business of the Year – Over 30 Employees Award. IT consultancy Halcyon is shortlisted in Responsible Business – Social & Governance Award and Customer Excellence Award.
