Wondering how to entertain your little stars over the summer holidays? The Epstein Theatre has it covered! The theatre on Hanover Street has teamed up with Tread Productions to launch West End Summer Schools.

Taking place during the first two weeks in August, the Tread West End Summer School is suitable for young people aged from 8 to 18.

All students will get the chance to work with professional West End actors to improve their ‘all round performance skills’ culminating in a final professional West End production featuring songs from We Will Rock You, Hairspray, Shrek, Mamma Mia and many more at the fabulous Epstein Theatre on Friday, 12th August at 7pm.

It offers a fantastic opportunity for attendees to perform some of the best loved musicals in the perfect theatre environment. Students will get a taste of musical theatre, performance skills, West End choreography and vocal coaching. Plus, the workshops are perfect for building confidence.

The daily sessions will run from 9am to 4pm from Monday to Friday, August 1 to 12 and it costs just £99 per week per child.

Tread Acting Schools are run by leading West End actor Graham Tudor, who has starred in Mamma Mia, Grease, Joseph and more, and Hollyoaks actress, Helen Noble who played Abby Davies.

Their Acting Schools offer unparalleled training in all aspects of the performing arts with many students having gone on to work professionally in TV (Silent Witness, Harriet’s Army) and theatre (Priscilla, Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz and more).

Workshops are taught by professional actors with experience in TV, film and theatre. All of the team are CRB checked and have many years’ teaching experience, working with children from all backgrounds across the UK.

So if your talented offspring would like to have a go at treading the boards, book now as places are limited.

You do not need to enrol on both weeks to participate, therefore children can attend week one and not week two. However, week two will solely be rehearsals for the final performance. Please note: daily sessions are not available.
