Last week a Liverpool car dealership welcomed the innovative BMW i8 to its showroom.

BMW selected Williams Liverpool on Great Howard Street to be sole agent responsible for launching, supporting and selling the the brand new plug-in hybrid and staff have been specially trained for the job.

The design features an eDrive plug-in hybrid concept combining an electric drive system with BMW’s first high-performance, turbo-charged 1.5 litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 362hp.

Rob Gower, new car sales manager at Williams Liverpool, said:

“We are genuinely honoured to have been appointed as the sole BMW i8 agent for Liverpool.
