Acting on behalf of DTZ Investors, the specialist markets team at CBRE in the North West has completed the sale of Bebington Care Home, which comprises 86 bedrooms, and Amelia House in York with 81 bedrooms

Commercial agents have completed the sale of two care homes – one of which is in Bebington in Wirral.

Acting on behalf of DTZ Investors, the specialist markets team at CBRE in the North West has completed the sale of Bebington Care Home, which comprises 86 bedrooms, and Amelia House in York with 81 bedrooms.

The buyer is UK listed specialist care home investor Target Healthcare REIT and its subsidiaries. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Both care homes are let on two separate leases to Four Seasons Health Care, one of the UK’s largest care home operators. Bebington Care Home is located to the west of Bebington town centre and was opened in  1999.

Shaun Skidmore, senior director of the specialist markets team, said: “Both properties offer a sound investment opportunity for long-term capital growth as fundamentally they are purpose built physical assets providing good accommodation and facilities, are in high demand locations which achieve strong and consistent occupancy, whilst being let at sustainable rental levels.”
