A crèche and boarding for dogs is one of the more unusual features of a new luxury hotel opening in Liverpool this summer.

Urbanista Hotel in Bold Street will launch its first phase towards the end of the summer and will comprise a mixture of 20 suites and double rooms. It is located above the former Love Thy Neighbour site which has recently been taken over by Graffiti Spirits Group.

Guests will benefit from a dog creche and boarding, exclusive offers with some of the city centre’s best restaurants and bars, and partnerships with Delta Taxis and Just Park.

Owners are promising “plush interiors decked out in classic hues, creating a contemporary environment for its guests”.

Alex Carney, Urbanista’s marketing manager, said: “We’re really excited for the opening of Urbanista. It’s right in the heart of the Ropewalks area, a place renowned with locals and tourists.

“The hotel will be overlooking Bold Street, and is a much-needed addition to the area – we can’t wait to welcome our guests to stay with us. The interior of Urbanista is going to really contemporary and classy. We’re aiming to keep it sleek and want our guests to feel comfortable in luxurious surroundings.”
