The Lord Street opening marks an important milestone in Coffee King’s continued expansion. The new café follows on from the launch of sites in West Kirby, Liverpool ONE and its flagship café in Halifax.

All opened within the last two years, with more to come this year, including a new large sit-in cafe in Liverpool and Warrington.

Ths latest Southport venue will also offer outside seating, allowing customers to bask in the sunshine during the warmer months while enjoying Coffee King’s expertly crafted drinks in one of Southport’s most vibrant settings.

In addition to its specialty coffee, customers can enjoy Coffee King’s signature savoury and sweet croissants from its different range, alongside a selection of freshly-prepared hot food including baked pasties, baps and other comforting options.

Chief executive Sean Le Tissier said: “It’s great to be opening a new Coffee King site in Southport. Lord Street is such an historic and lively part of the town, and the marble exteriors and ornate ceiling make this building a truly special home for the brand.

“This opening is part of our wider growth plans, with more cafés, and our own Roastery and Bakery set to open later this year as we continue to expand Coffee King.”
