As ladies of Liverpool are planning to be pampered and preened in time for Ladies Day 2015, an alternative Aintree races day will take place at Blackburne House this Friday, April 10th.

The event is specially organised for who want to be part of the action but away from the crowds, and includes a drinks reception followed by a two course lunch. Live racing will be shown on a big screen and attendees can try their luck and buy a lottery tickets for each race for a chance to win one of a range of prizes up for grabs.

When the races have finished, the fun continues as afternoon tea is served before live entertainment from Dave Ashley and Paul McCoy, winner of Stars in Your Eyes.

And what’s more, it’s all for a good cause and money raised from the event will go towards the Blackburne House bursary fund, which provides funding to help women access education and qualifications.
