Inditex-owned brand Stradivarius opens 8,000 sq ft Liverpool ONE outlet taking Inditex’s total presence at the site to 53,000 sq ft. Tony McDonough reports
Liverpool ONE owner Grosvenor has secured a new 8,000 sq ft letting with international fashion brand Stradivarius.
Part of the Inditex group, Stradivarius offers womenswear collections. It joins other Inditex brands in South John Street, including Zara, Pull & Bear and Bershka. It means Inditex now occupies 53,000 sq ft at Liverpool ONE.
It is the latest in a series of new lettings at the £1bn retail and leisure complex. In August it was announced global beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury would open a new store in Paradise Street in October. Designer brand Tessuti has also opened on the same street.
Also at the end of August sportswear brand Under Armour announced it is to open a new 3,000 sq ft store in Liverpool ONE by the end of the year.
Alison Clegg, managing director, asset management at Grosvenor, said: “The launch of Stradivarius is a great moment for us. Not least for the fact that it marks the fourth Inditex brand to open at Liverpool ONE. It also cements Liverpool ONE’s position as one of the leading UK retail and leisure destinations.
“We’re pleased that our active management is being recognised by both international and independent brands. They are increasingly choosing Liverpool ONE for their expansion plans.”
Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE. Inditex dealt directly.
