Liverpool John Lennon Airport launches VIP service for passengers which includes a concierge service on arrival and the option of a luxury limo to and from the airport. Tony McDonough reports
Passengers using Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) are being offered a VIP service which includes a concierge on arrival.
LJLA is teaming up with VIP-FLY to offer what it describes as “the ultimate VIP experience”. A VIP-FLY concierge will meet you on arrival at the airport and help you to check your bags in.
You will then be fast-tracked through security and escorted to the airport’s premium. Concierge’s can also help with shopping in the departure lounge, collect items for the flight such as food and beverages and even escort passengers to the gate.
People can also opt to be met at their office or home and driven to the airport in a luxury limousine and this is available for both departures and arrivals.
Lucy O’Shaughnessy, commercial director at LJLA, said: “Passengers feedback how much they enjoy flying from Liverpool. This VIP concierge service will give our passengers the chance to really get their trip off to a great start.

“VIP-FLY’s concierge staff look after them from the moment they arrive to when they take their seat on the plane. It’s normally an experience reserved for VIPs. Now anyone can be a VIP here at the airport.”
This service is available to passengers flying with all airlines operating from the airport, irrespective of the destination and for individuals and groups. VIP-FLY is a joint venture between Arvin Aviation and Station Management Solutions.
Co-founder Simon Williamson, an aviation veteran of more than 15 years, added: “We know that for many people jetting off from the airport may not be a regular experience or they may be unfamiliar with the process of passing through the airport.
“Some passengers still find airports daunting and they can also be a worry for people seeing off a friend or relative to foreign parts.
“So it can be a great comfort to know that a loved one has been personally looked after and successfully got onto the right flight without any of the stress.”
