Agent Academy CIC announces key appointment

Agent Marketing is thrilled to have recruited a new team member for its sister organisation, Agent Academy Community Interest Company (CIC).

Zoe Wallace is now head of Agent Academy CIC. The organisation tackles youth unemployment through a free twelve-week course of hands-on, practical marketing experience. Working with Agent Marketing’s team and a host of Liverpool business leaders and marketing experts, young people gain valuable contacts and applicable skills from inside the industry.

Zoe Wallace previously worked at O2 as training and development manager for the North West region, where her hard work earned her a National Field and Brand Marketing award. Zoe’s track record of excellence in leadership and creating effective training programmes will be indispensable in her new role.

Paul Corcoran, managing director at Agent Marketing said:

“We’re delighted to have found the right leader for Agent Academy CIC. It’s a really exciting time for our social enterprise: after two extremely successful programmes, we are now about to launch programme three.

“Zoe already has some big ideas for Agent Academy CIC, and is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches to the upcoming programme, which is due to start at the end of this month. We know that it’s going to be outstanding.”

Agent Academy CIC is a fully funded twelve-week programme that runs from Agent Marketing’s headquarters for two days a week, over 12 weeks. The course is structured around guest speakers, workplace visits and coaching from the Agent Marketing team. It’s open to those who are aged 16-25, and looks for enthusiasm, forward thinking and talent rather than just qualifications.

Over 60% of Agent Academy CIC’s previous graduates have now secured employment in a marketing role in key organisations such as Juice FM, Liverpool Clinical Laboratories and Open Messenger.

Zoe Wallace, head of Agent Academy CIC said:

“The second I heard about this role, I knew that it was perfect for me. It provides me with the opportunity to work with young people and support them to fulfil their potential. It’s going to be challenging, but I’m really looking forward to it.

“Agent Academy CIC has so much potential, as it’s so important to connect local businesses to the marketing talent of the future. I am keen to empower the young people of Liverpool, opening up new dimensions to the programme and pushing it in interesting new directions.”
