Law firm Astraea Linskills has moved into a new Liverpool city centre headquarters – more than doubling its previous space.
Founded as Astraea Legal by lawyer Nama Zarroug in 2016, it acquired leading Liverpool criminal law firm Linskills in February 2020 and rebranded as Astraea Linskills. When it launched it made Avenue HQ at Mann Island its home, later moving to Avenue HQ’s other site at No 5 St Paul’s Square.
Now it has relocated to 14 Castle Street, in the heart of the city’s commercial district. It has purchased the first-floor offices giving it 1,850 sq ft of office space. It houses 24 staff desks, offering the firm room to grow. It also has a private boardroom seating 10 people.
Astraea Linskills, which also has an office in London, has seen caseloads across all departments increase in excess of 100% over the past 18 months. It offers a range of services.
These include criminal, civil and commercial litigation as well as commercial property law, family, private client, electoral, welfare benefit, motoring and licensing law. In January this year John-Paul Dennis, a former senior lawyer at Weightmans and Kirwans, joined Astraea Linskills as chief executive and head of its private client.
He said: “This move is the next stage of strategic growth for Astraea Linskills and allows the company to build on the solid foundations that the directors have laid to this point. It will provide our talented team with a welcoming, comfortable and productive workspace.
“We look forward to becoming part of the bustling Castle Street community as we execute the next phase in the company’s expansion plans.”
