Cube7 Interiors starts £200k refurb at The Capital Building
North West based office fit out contractor, Cube7 Interiors has started an extensive refurbishment project at The Capital Building on Old Hall Street.
The 390,000 sq ft office building in Liverpool’s business district, formerly known as New Hall Place and the Post & Echo Building is being revamped by office fit-out and partitioning glazed specialists Cube7 Interiors.
Located on Old Hall Street, plans include a £200k package of glazed partitioning and glass doors to be completed over three phases.
Phase one of the refurbishment is complete, with Level 0 benefitting from new meeting and work areas using glazed partitioning. Individual ‘pods’ have been installed to create a quiet, private space for work or meetings, a break room with lunch tables and open-plan booth seating.
The project is expected to be completed by December 2017.
Occupiers at the 13-storey office building include insurance group RSA, Trinity Mirror’s newspaper Liverpool Echo and government departments UK Visa & Immigration and Crown Commercial Service.
Dave Loughlin, director of Cube7 Interiors, says:
“We are very pleased with the first phase of the project, delivered on time and within budget. The new office space gives the environment a very modern and professional finish.
“When phase two and three are complete in December 2017, the office building will have benefitted from a modern upgrade which will play an important role in helping to strengthen the commercial core of Liverpool city centre.”
