Mettle is a support programme for digital entrepreneurs in the Liverpool city region

Digital creative and technology entrepreneurs in the Liverpool city region only have until this Friday (June 5) to enrol on a new online support programme.

Fully funded as part of the Metro Mayor’s Business Growth Package, Mettle is designed to help one of the region’s key growth sectors to navigate the unprecedented shock to the local economy caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

It provides access to industry experts and arms participants with the practical strategies and tools they need to boost resilience in challenging times. Steve Rotheram, Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, said, “Mettle is one of the ways we’re looking to support businesses to sustain operations during the recovery period.

“By connecting local business leaders with each other, and with experts who can provide a listening ear as well as practical guidance, we hope to build a resilient local business community that can weather not only this storm, but those they may be faced with at any point in the future too.”

Mettle has been designed to fit even the busiest of schedules, providing the maximum value possible in just two hours a week, for the duration of the six week course. Applications for the next intake close on Friday, June 5. To find out more information and to apply for free, click here.
