EFT Group reveals images of new headquarters
Liverpool city region Security and construction business EFT Group reveals new images of how its new headquarters will look when completed. Andrew Brown reports

These eye-catching images reveal how the brand new headquarters for the EFT Group in Southport could look.
They were released as the firm officially submitted its full planning application for the scheme to Sefton Council. EFT operates two divisions covering home security and automation, construction and domestic and commercial electrical services.
With annual revenues of around £19m, EFT employs 147 local people and has outgrown its current premises at Cobden House, on Cobden Road in Southport due to its growing success.
The firm is now working closely with Sefton Council as it bids to build a premises within three large units (plots F, G and H) on a 2.09-hectare site at Southport Business Park, on Wight Moss Way, Southport, to enable it to grow and provide more skilled employment opportunities locally.
This development would also include 26 light industrial units, which would support several small starter / hybrid units to encourage further economic activity in our town.
EFT recently celebrated its 50th birthday, and won the Sefton Business In The Community Award at the 2025 Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards.
EFT Group was founded in 1974 and the family-owned firm works hard to champion opportunities for women and men, including through its own two academies.

Baltic PDC has been instructed by EFT Group to prepare and submit a full planning application to Sefton Council for the development. It includes a mixed office, training and light industrial development with access, parking and landscaping with associated works.
The application says: “The scheme looks to bring forward an overgrown and vacant site which is part of an existing business park.
“The first part of the development comprises a new part two storey and part single storey purpose-built office scheme for a local construction company (EFT) to make their new headquarters.

“EFT was formed in 1974 and started out principally in the security sector – from designing, manufacturing and maintaining security infrastructure for buildings. They have evolved into a multi disciplined group containing all facets of the construction industry from building, infrastructure and services installations.
“The second part of the site is to create 26 light industrial units.
“EFT will look to retain some of the units for their own business needs. The remaining units will be rented out to small local businesses, some of which form part of EFT’s current supply chain.
