The search is on for the UK’s most innovative, entrepreneurial growing enterprises as the nominations for the Growing Business Awards 2014 open.

The awards, which are held in association with Lloyds Bank and supported by the CBI, are the most established and respected recognition of small and medium businesses and entrepreneurial success.

Entry is free for any high-growth small to medium enterprises in the UK and there will be ten different categories.

• The “Made in Britain” Award, which recognises companies developing excellent technologies
• Growing Business of the Year
• Retail Hero
• Young Company of the Year
• Export Champion of the Year
• Digital Champion

Previous winners of these prolific accolades include Peratech, LOVEFiLM and Ovo Energy.

The Retail Hero award is a brand new addition this year and aims to acknowledge and highlight exceptional growth and innovation within the retail sector.

Shortlisted candidates will be given the opportunity to meet an esteemed panel of judges, which includes Zoopla CEO and founder Alex Chesterman, serial entrepreneurs Dr Stephen Fear and Lara Morgan, as well as Coffee Nation founder Martyn Dawes.

Winners will be annouced at a ceremony on November 25th 2014 at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvener Sqaure.
