Peel’s Liverpool Waters has secured three new commercial tenants on a small trading estate on the edge of the £5bn project.

Fitness start-up Crew42 Gym, micro-brewery Carnival Brewing Company, and electrical and public health services provider, HE Simm, have all moved into King Edward Triangle, adjacent to Princes Dock. Just two units now remain available.

Crew 42 Gym is the smallest of the three lettings with the business taking out a five-year lease on 3,421 sq. ft of space. With the aim of changing people’s approach to fitness, the team looks to make their gym a fun space and hopes to attract members from across the local business and residential community.

Carnival Brewing Company has taken out a five-year lease of 3,365 sq ft of space for its three full-time staff which they are hoping to double by early 2020. The move marks a relocation and expansion for the business from a garage in Mossley Hill, where the team has been developing its recipes and building the brand.

HE Simm has taken the unit on as an expansion of its existing Sefton Street-based business, as it carries out mechanical and electrical installations at The Regenda Group’s Plaza 1821 currently in development at Princes Dock.

The team is utilising the unit at King Edward Triangle as an office and storage space for site materials, as well as creating a pre-fabrication area and waste recycling section to manage the use of waste on site more efficiently.

The lettings were secured by the Liverpool Waters team. Liza Marco, asset manager at Liverpool Waters, said:It’s fantastic to have such a diverse range of businesses moving into King Edward Triangle, all of whom are at different stages.

“Whether they’re just starting out or expanding, these businesses demonstrate the versatility of the space that is on offer and the range of possible uses.”
