Wealth management consultancy Flying Colours has agreed a five-year lease on a third floor suite in a deal negotiated by joint agents Worthington Owen and CBRE. Tony McDonough reports

An office building in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district is now 100% let after owner Millfield Estates secured a new tenant.

Millfield acquired Yorkshire House, a former bank building in Chapel Street, in May 2016 and embarked on a major upgrade programme, investing in the building’s common areas and vacant suites.

Now, following a five-year letting to wealth management consultancy Flying Colours for a 3,283 sq ft, third floor suite, the 24,411 sq ft building is now full. Joint agents at the building, Worthington Owen and CBRE, negotiated the letting on behalf of Millfield.

Andrew Owen, director of Worthington Owen, said: “It is wonderful to see that the investment from Millfield Estates has borne fruit and lead to the letting of the entire third floor to such a reputable company as Flying Colours.

“This new lease means the building is now fully let – the first time this has been achieved since Yorkshire House was originally refurbished back in 2001. It is great news for all.”

Flying Colours has expanded significantly over the last few years with advisors already working in locations including Ascot, Lincoln and Milton Keynes before adding the Liverpool office this month.
