A new indoor adventure golf leisure destination came swinging in to Cheshire Oaks this weekend.

The UK’s leading indoor adventure golf company, Paradise Island Adventure Golf, launched its latest miniature golf experience at Ellesmere Port on Saturday.

Set amidst a tropical island paradise over an expansive 13,000 sq ft space, the new adventure facility offers the ultimate mini-golf challenge with two bespoke 18-hole golf courses. Full of twists and turns, the courses have been designed to send the ball and player on a rollercoaster ride, with mini-golfers’ skills being tested to the limit through a maze of obstacles and uneven terrain.

Explorers on the Coral Cove course tee-off at the port side on an abandoned shipwreck with an old rusty boat, crates and barrels and a striking shark’s head. Players navigate through sea caves and rock pools to reach a tranquil tropical desert island beach with palm trees and beautiful seascape.

Next voyagers travel through the jungle and eerie cannibal camp, before completing the journey in the temple ruins with snakes, ancient statues and dense overgrown rainforest.

Adventurers on the Lazy Lagoon course are transported to Morocco as they tee-off at a mysterious bazaar spice market, full of exotic fruits, carpets and lanterns, against a backdrop of rich sounds and smells. The eastern expedition continues through a Maharaja’s ruined palace in a jungle full of ancient trees, bats and monkeys, before completing the journey on the desert island beach and sea shell filled blue lagoon.

Both courses culminate at the finale 19th hole, where players are challenged to complete it in one for the chance to win a free game pass.
