Developer Redsun projects delivers 50,000 sq ft industrial scheme at a Liverpool city region business park. Tony McDonough reports

Redsun Projects has announced the completion of Hub50, a new 50,000 sq ft industrial building at Knowsley Business Park.
Located off South Boundary Road, the unit marks the final phase of Redsun Projects’ Knowsley Hub development. Available for sale or let now, Hub50 was speculatively built on a three-acre site that was acquired from Knowsley Council.
It follows the successful delivery of the first phase, a trade counter scheme on a three-acre site immediately adjacent to Hub50 that is now fully let.
This latest building includes solar PV panels, electric vehicle chargers, and a 500kVa power supply. B8 Real Estate and Cushman and Wakefield are joint agents for the unit, which is immediately available for occupancy.
Alex Perratt, associate director at B8 Real Estate, said: “Hub50 is a prime opportunity for businesses seeking high-quality, strategically located industrial space in the North West.
“Redsun’s ambition in both phases of this development has created a thriving commercial community that has been championed by a proactive, forward-thinking council.
“With exceptional transport links and modern infrastructure, Hub50 is designed to support growth, efficiency, and long-term success. We welcome enquiries from prospective occupiers.”
Principal contractor for Hub50 was Portal Construction NW. The wider project team included AEW, Link Engineering, Langton Development Services and KGA.

Cllr Tony Brennan, Knowsley’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, added: “Hub50 is a state-of-the-art, sustainable facility that caters to modern industrial requirements and further enhances the thriving offer at Knowsley Business Park.
“It is a further boost to the economic growth of the borough and will help attract new business and deliver employment opportunities in Knowsley.”
