New bar and grill O’Connors opens it’s doors today

Sefton Park Hotel launches exciting new dining concept today in the form of O’Connor’s.

Combining the experience of Irish chief executive Conor O’Donovan with the popular ‘bar and grill’ style of dining, the new venture will reflect ongoing investment in South Liverpool. O’Connor’s will be open from this afternoon with the official launch taking place next week on Thursday, December 18.

In order to create an authentic Irish feel, a series of creative installations will be carried out, which include subtle black and green colour schemes with matching decorative undertones, as well as seating areas that combine contemporary style with home comforts.

Conor said:

“I have been at the hotel for more than three years now and following the success of the rebrand that took place last year, it felt only right to revamp our in-house restaurant and bar. The objective is for the essence and attributes to flow throughout the entire ground floor of the venue, whilst adding in hints of Irish heritage in the bar and dining area.

“In addition to being a popular choice amongst hotel residents, we hope that the new look will make the restaurant stand out from the crowd and appeal to locals just wanting a meal and a chance to socialise. By incorporating a modern yet authentic theme, the venue will provide style and sophistication whilst emitting a warm and welcoming appeal.”

O’Connor’s will offer diners a variety of meat and fish dishes straight from the flame grill, including steaks, ribs, burgers and fajitas; it also hopes to become renowned for its Afternoon Tea menus and traditional Sunday roasts, both of which are priced from £7.95. The open floor seating will provide the perfect setting for intimate meals and social drinks amongst friends, families and couples.

Conor added:

“We hope that the new restaurant and bar receives a great response from the public during its grand unveiling. Although our branding has been defined and the interior modernised, our ethos in proving first class food and drink will remain consistent throughout everything we do.”
