Suites Hotel & Spa is highlighting the importance of wellbeing in the workplace.

Hosting corporate clientele since its opening, the award-winning Knowsley based venue is currently experiencing an increase in leisure business due to the evolving nature of conferences and away days.

Recent statistics reveal that 11% of UK corporate meetings now take place in resort, hotel and destination spas, in line with findings that suggest businesses that adopt a wellness programme witness a 25% reduction in sick leave and boosted staff morale.

Conference and Events Manager at Suites Hotel & Spa Alison Lockhart said: ‘Corporate meetings and business conferences are regular occurrences for many of us, and a lot of the time they can be challenging and taxing. With that in mind, it’s great to be able to offer a more tranquil setting that has no resemblance to the typical office environment, as new evidence suggests that the frequency of spa visits directly correlates with a higher quality of sleep, fewer sick days, work absenteeism and hospitalisations.’

Together with The Spa facilities, a selection of corporate meeting rooms are available for delegates ranging between 2-300 people.

Alison added: ‘What makes conferences at Suites Hotel & Spa different to the traditional hotel corporate setting is the scope of our in-house amenities such as The Spa and our dining and drinking destinations Handley’s Brassiere and Bollinger Bar. Those visiting The Spa even have exclusive access to Spa Bistro, which serves up both healthy and indulgent light-bites perfect for post-pamper.’
