Tmesis Theatre’s new show to guarantee happiness for at least an hour
Liverpool based Tmesis Theatre is getting ready to make UK audiences happy this autumn with the announcement of their brand new show ‘Happy Hour’.
Following a successful National tour in 2015 of That’s Amore, Happy Hour will open at Liverpool’s Unity Theatre for 3 nights in October before embarking on a 14 date UK tour.
The company combines their trademark physicality with humour, music, and text from long-term collaborator Chris Fittock to create a poignant, fast paced, comedy exploring our 21st century obsession with happiness and success.
Happy Hour will be hitting theatres nationwide this Autumn, opening at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool, on 5th October, followed by dates in St. Mary’s Creative Space, Chester, The Atkinson, Southport and The Arts Centre, Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.
Happy Hour is funny, highly engaging with a mix of characters everyone can relate to, performed by highly skilled performers and featuring a great selection of music as well as some beautiful original scores from composer Meike Holzmann.
Tmesis Theatre is one of the UK’s leading physical theatre companies, with a reach that is national and international. The company produces and tour shows, deliver workshops and outreach work and run Liverpool’s annual international physical theatre festival, Physical Fest.
