Velocity Trampoline Park is encouraging the North West to jump on board with its new fitness programme

As the largest of its kind in the North West, the 27,000 sq. ft. Widnes based venue has added extra classes to its schedule following increased demand for the high energy fitness trend.

The classes are now offering guests a full-body workout class with a difference – focusing on strengthening the core, toning the muscles and burning calories.

Managing Director of Velocity Leisure Steven Cosgrove said:

“It’s great to have upped our class schedule. The increase in novel our trampoline workouts has added a new dimension to our fitness program by combining cardio, agility and high intensity training with a fun twist. Being just a ten minute drive from The Rocket in Liverpool, means that we are easily accessible to all. We understand that keeping active can be sometimes be a chore, which is why we wanted to create an offering that certainly puts the fun back into fitness. Our Thursday class even features a novel disco theme – leg warmers not compulsory!”

Velocity Fitness consists of moves derived from various forms of full-body exercise. Each fitness session is proven to be three times more beneficial than a regular workout and incorporates a set of specific moves that can only be done on a trampoline. Participants can expect to burn an estimated 1,000 calories per hour.

Steven added:

“Trampolining is a low impact fat burning exercise, which places minimal stress on the heart, muscles and joints, making it ideal for participants of all fitness levels. During our regular exercise classes, partakers can expect to jump, fly and spin, all the while improving their balance and co-ordination as well as burning fat. Trampolining certainly is a much more contemporary and conventional form of exercise. Whether it be adults and teens looking to get in shape and stay fit, or parents wanting to keep their children or toddlers active, we’ve certainly got the space and facilities to allow everyone to spring into action.”

Velocity Fitness takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8pm-9pm. Sessions are priced at £6.50 each, ten sessions at £60 and 20 sessions at £110.
