Mother and daughter entrepreneurs Vicky and Charlotte McGregor have unveiled their new-look Bloom Bar & Bistro in South Liverpool.

They have transformed the former Verdant restaurant in Allerton after acquiring the business in May. Verdant was opened by Phil Melia in November 2016 and had proved popular with diners.

Vicky and Charlotte initially ran the restaurant as Verdant until September when they embarked on the rebrand. Despite the new look they have retained the central floral fixture which has always been popular with customers.

In keeping with its floral theme, Bloom Bar & Bistro is also adorned in inspirational quotes and murals making for Instagrammable photo opportunities, and a brand new bar and booth seating.

Bloom Bar & Bistro offers new menus covering brunch, lunch and an evening menu packed with small plates and an à la carte section.

They have introduced a customisable ‘Build A Board’, and also a wide range of healthy dishes including the super salad, chicken, bacon and avocado salad and stir fries for those who prefer lighter lunches. Along with new additions, Verdant’s popular Sunday roast is still available.

General Manager and co-owner Charlotte, said: “We’re absolutely ecstatic with the finished interior of Bloom Bar & Bistro. It’s light, airy and welcoming for our guests and with our incredible new menu, we’re confident we can offer a fantastic dining experience.

“We’ve given our floral fixtures an overhaul and added to them so they’re bigger and more beautiful than before. We look forward to welcoming our guests to see the finished product.”
