Outdoor advertising specialist OPEN Media is relocating its team from Liverpool’s Mann Island to the Royal Liver Building.

The move follows the company’s growth in 2019, taking on seven new members of staff – five in Liverpool and two in London. It has grown year-on-year, with a roll-out of 12 new digital outdoor sites planned across the UK this year.

In 2019 OPEN began to branch out of the North West, and will launch outdoor screens nationwide throughout 2020. The firm was attracted to the Liver by the refurbishment which has added an onsite restaurant, coffee shop and gym. The refurbishment has been described by developers CBRE as a “pivotal moment in the building’s history”.

OPEN Media managing director, Mike Smith, said: “We are incredibly excited about the move, as starting the business in a shared office space in the Baltic Triangle to moving into the most iconic building in the North West, is pretty special.

“We looked around at several office buildings in the city, and when we saw the plans and vision for the scheme we fell in love. This office space is going to play a vital role in terms of the growth at OPEN Media, as it allows us to show off our company culture to our people and clients.”
